Moonfade is an on-device sleep timer for Android. We do not provide customer accounts. We operate a narrow verification endpoint solely so authorized Google Play reviewers can temporarily access paid features without making a purchase. This policy explains information handled by Moonfade, that endpoint, optional app usage measurement, and the Google services the app uses.
Information stored on your device
Moonfade stores timer settings, presets, theme and fade choices, advertising grace-state information, cached Google Play entitlement status, and any temporary reviewer-access expiration on your device. Timer and customization settings are not sent to a server operated by PT Solusi Siber Teknologi.
You can remove local app data through Android's app-storage controls or by uninstalling Moonfade. Android backup and device transfer are disabled for Moonfade, so those local values do not transfer to a different installation. Clearing data or uninstalling does not remove a purchase recorded by Google Play; you can restore an eligible purchase using the Google account that made it.
Purchases
Moonfade offers an optional one-time Moonfade Pro purchase through Google Play. Google Play processes payment details. Moonfade receives purchase information such as the product identifier, purchase state, purchase token, and acknowledgement state so it can provide or restore Pro. Moonfade does not receive or store your card or bank details.
Google's handling of purchase information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Google Play reviewer access
Google Play reviewers may be given a reusable, developer-issued access code in the private Play Console review instructions. The app sends that code to our HTTPS verification endpoint only when a reviewer opens the private reviewer-access flow described in the Play Console instructions and submits it. The endpoint validates the code and returns a temporary expiration time; it does not create an account, receive timer or settings data, or intentionally retain the submitted code or request body. The app stores only the resulting expiration time locally. Cloudflare, which hosts the endpoint, may process IP address, network, diagnostic, and security information needed to deliver and protect the service under its own privacy terms.
Website measurement
On the website home page, blog index and articles, and the original compatibility-check page, a first-party script counts page loads and any Google Play link clicks. We store daily totals by page, button location, approved traffic source and campaign, with separate QA and detectable-bot totals. No cookies or visitor identifiers are used. These counters contain no IP addresses, app settings, account information, raw query strings, or full referrer URLs. The script honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Counts describe visits and clicks, not individual people or completed installs. This website measurement does not collect timer activity from the Android app. The compatibility-check page has no online fields to submit worksheet notes or results; keep those notes on paper or in your own local notes.
Optional app usage measurement
Moonfade 1.0.1 adds Share anonymous usage results in Settings. It is off by default and separate from advertising and website measurement. When enabled, the app sends counts of accepted timer starts and timer endings, distinguishing app or widget starts, expiry, cancellation and replacement. It reports observable fade, audio-focus and screen-lock request outcomes. An accepted audio-focus or lock request does not prove another app paused or the physical display locked.
Events contain the UTC date, app version, production or QA label and an anonymous per-timer receipt to avoid duplicate counts. They contain no persistent installation or account identifier, timer duration, player names, listening history, presets or other settings. Local history supplies a category for first successful expiry, another expiry on the same UTC day, or expiry on a later UTC day; that history stays on your device.
Our Cloudflare-hosted collector keeps daily aggregate totals and hashed duplicate-prevention receipts for up to 14 days, removed on subsequent collector activity. The app keeps at most 100 pending events for up to seven UTC days and a bounded local receipt list. Turning the setting off clears pending events and local return-use history. An already transmitted request or aggregate total cannot be recalled or matched to you. Hosting infrastructure may process network and security information needed to deliver and protect this service.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free version may show advertising supplied by Google Mobile Ads. Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP address, which can indicate approximate location, device or app identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Where required, Moonfade uses Google's consent-management technology to present privacy choices before requesting ads. If Moonfade shows a Privacy choices item in Settings, you can use it to review or change applicable choices. Android's advertising controls may also let you reset or delete the advertising ID.
Google's relevant policies include How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google advertising technologies and controls.
Android capabilities
Moonfade uses Android notifications and foreground-service capabilities to keep an active timer visible and reliable. Before starting a timer, Moonfade asks you to activate Device Admin permission so it can turn off and lock the display when the timer ends. Turning off Turn off the screen in Settings removes Moonfade's Device Admin permission. Do this before uninstalling. Starting another timer requires activation again.
Sharing and selling
PT Solusi Siber Teknologi does not sell timer durations, presets, themes, fade choices, or other settings Moonfade stores locally. Moonfade uses Google Play for purchases and Google Mobile Ads and Google consent technology for the services described above; their processing is subject to Google's policies.
Children
Moonfade is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.
Your choices and questions
You may stop using Moonfade at any time, clear its Android app storage, uninstall it, change applicable consent choices in Settings, and use Google or Android controls described above.
